Job Title

Retail Sales Executive (North Caicos)

 

 

 

Primary objective of the job: 

The Retail Sales Executive is responsible for selling all Digicel TCI products and services (Mobile and D+) from initial customer engagement through to final sale. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and contributing to overall revenue growth.

 

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Customer Engagement
  • Greet customers and determine their needs and preferences
  • Clearly explain the features, benefits, and value of products and services
  • Recommend suitable devices and service plans based on customer requirements
  • Sell and upgrade mobile, cable, and broadband services in line with company targets
  • Upsell and cross-sell products and services where appropriate
  • Process all device sales, including testing devices and explaining warranty terms
  • Handle SIM sales and activations (prepaid and postpaid)
  • Process bill payments and other transactions accurately

 

 

 

Customer Service & Support

  • Provide timely and effective resolution to customer queries and issues
  • Troubleshoot service and handset problems and determine appropriate solutions
  • Schedule field service appointments when required
  • Handle account adjustments and corrections accurately
  • Escalate unresolved issues using the established escalation process
  • Record and report all customer complaints in a timely manner
  • Ensure customers leave the store fully set up (APN configuration, email, apps, voice, SMS, and data services)

 

 

 

Merchandising & Store Maintenance

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
  • Ensure all displayed products are available, properly priced, and accurately described
  • Conduct daily stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Ensure marketing displays are current and compliant with company standards
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or issues
  • Report damaged displays, fixtures, or store issues to management
  • Perform regular cleaning of display areas and devices

 

 

 

Cash Handling & Operations

  • Process all payments using Digicel’s POS system
  • Ensure accurate collection of payments and issuance of change
  • Secure all cash, cheques, and financial assets
  • Balance cash at the end of each day and complete required reports
  • Adhere strictly to company cash handling procedures and policies

 

 

 

Compliance & General Duties

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and uniform standards
  • Safeguard company assets at all times
  • Be flexible to work at any Digicel retail location (Providenciales, South Caicos, or Grand Turk) as required

 

 

 

 Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Minimum High School Diploma with passes in English and Mathematics (CXC or GCE)
  • Customer service training and/or experience required
  • Ability to speak Spanish and/or Creole is an asset

  • Possess good organizational and analytical abilities
