JOB TITLE:  Retail Sales Lead

Primary objective of the job:

To support the retail sales team objectives and day-to-day activities with a highly professional service, encompassing floor management, team supervision, stock and display management, smooth running of all designated operations and to support a culture of continuous improvement.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet financial KPIs and attend monthly meetings on performance.
• Ensure all financial reports are aligned and reconciled with end of day closing.
• Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock.
• Utilize computers to record sales figures, data analysis and forward planning
• Maintain store look & feel in accordance with Retail guidelines.
• Maintain health and safety measures.
• Handle customer complaints, issues and questions.
• Manage retail staff including people working on the floor and cashiers
• Recruit, coach, counsel, discipline and train employees
• Evaluate self-on-the-job performance; as well as other staff
• Identify market trends that appeal to customers.
• Ensure that hours of operation are in compliance with local laws
• Organize and distribute staff schedules
• Preside over weekly staff meetings and monthly presentation of department performance.
• Help, drive, motivate, and encourage retail sales staff to achieve sales targets
• Ensure staff are fully aware and educated on products & services.

Academic qualifications and experience required for job:

• Minimum 5 CXC/GCE O ‘levels (including Mathematics and English Language)

• Excellent written, oral, and verbal communication skills
• Must have PC skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have customer service experience.
• Must be able to work 40 hours weekly including Saturday.
• Fluent English Speaking. (Spanish Optional)
