Primary objective of the job:

The main purpose of this position is to increase the Business Sales of Digicel’s customer base and connections on the network and maintain the accounts.

 

Main Duties and responsibilities:

  • To meet and exceed sales target, whilst ensuring business growth, loyalty and customer satisfaction on a consistent basis.
  • Sell Digicel suite of products, translate customer requirements and the features of the service into offering specific customer benefits and solutions.
  • Identify and qualify increased business opportunities from existing customers, use expertise and knowledge to make innovative proposals.
  • Manage sales funnel and pipeline management using salesforce.
  • Utilize and maintain key performance indices to track, accurately forecast and close sales.
  • Identify and understand and key customer business requirements across all functions and use this to develop a successful sales strategy.
  • Sales Reporting in Salesforce to include daily contacts and prospects (new business).
  • Monitor Corporate A/C (existing) and engage through all levels and functions to develop key account relationship.
  • Liaise with Major A/C C.C.A as it relates to account status.
  • Develop and increase sales with the SME, SOHO and Corporate sector through lead generation, cold calling, setting up appointments and referrals.
  • Attend Seminars/Functions in relations to Industry/Market assigned.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through sponsored social events.
  • Training clients on handset use, demonstrations and recommendations.
  • To ensure high quality of connections. Any other duties within the scope of the job periodically assigned by Country Manager.

Academic qualifications and experience for job:

  • A first Degree in Business Management or related field (Preferred).
  • Three (3) years experience in sales – Corporate Sales.
  • Training/Certificate in Sales.
  • Proven track record in achieving Sales targets, selling B2B.
  • Solid understanding of mobile technology and developments.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities on own initiative.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid B-class driver’s license.
