JOB TITLE: Consumer Sales Agent

REPORTS TO (TITLE): Consumer Sales Manager

 

The objective of this role is to:
•  Identify and pursue sales opportunities for the Digicel+ Product Portfolio to new customers, to enhance customers experience through up-selling and cross-selling to our existing customer base.
•  Provide exceptional customer service and aftersales service to all clients by resolving customer complaints, queries and concerns.
•  Liaise with other departments to ensure the fulfillment of end to end transactions

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

•  To achieve 100% of Sales Target
•  Full compliance with the use of prescribed CRM tools for optimal business intelligence.
•  To achieve the required amount of customer contacts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure that you can achieve your targets through your individual conversion rates.
•  To sell the required mixture of Digicel’s products and services in line with your required targets.
•  To accurately record all prospect information, sales appointments and conversations with customers and associated outcomes (failures and successes) in line with current reporting documents, to sales management on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
•  To accurately record customers’ orders and applications for products and services.
•  To accurately record and prepare a report on all information and amounts of money/cash taken as deposits from customers and deposited as requested by the company/manager.
•  To provide relevant information and responses to customers' concerns and questions in an honest and business-like manner.
•  To become an external ambassador of Digicel and maintain a strict level of professionalism.
•  Maintain and account for stock of devices.

 

Academic qualifications and experience required:

•  Minimum of Three (3) CXC (Caribbean Examination Council) CSEC subjects inclusive of English Language and a numerical subject (Accounts, Mathematics or Physics), or equivalent qualification
•  Must possess good computer skills and knowledge of the Internet and applications
•  Previous sales experience with demonstrated success
•  Previous experience in a customer service environment is an asset

Working Condition: dust, dirt, heat, abnormal hours, frequent travel, overtime, etc.

•  Required to work long hours in order to meet the business objectives / Abnormal hours
•  Required to work on weekends and/or public holidays
•  Frequent Customer site visits as required
•  Working on the road in any condition
•  Talking with customers of diverse personalities, social backgrounds and temperaments
•  Required to travel out of town and overnight when necessary
•  Ability to travel island wide/within an assigned zone

 

Key Performance Indicators:

•  To achieve assigned targets
•  Update, maintain and submit daily Sales, End of day & Collections Reports
•  Adherence to reporting and administrative functions in a timely manner
•  Update customer contracts
•  To ensure that all aspects of Digicel services are exemplary.
