JOB TITLE: Go-To-Market Sales Agent
DEPARTMENT: Go-to-Market
REPORTS TO (TITLE): Distribution and Recharge Executive
The objective of this role is to:
- Identify & pursue sales opportunities for the Grey market to acquire new customers and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Provide exceptional customer service and after-sales service to all clients by resolving customer complaints, queries and concerns.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure the fulfillment of end-to-end transactions
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consistently achieve assigned sales targets, with primary focus on bulk SIM sales, while also driving prepaid, postpaid, and Digicel+ (D+) sales as required.
- Ensure a balanced product mix across all Digicel offerings in line with agreed performance targets.
- Achieve the required number of daily, weekly, and monthly customer/distributor contacts, converting through strong individual sales performance.
- Provide accurate and timely information, addressing customer and distributor concerns in a professional, business-like manner.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Digicel, maintaining professionalism and strengthening the company’s presence in the market.
- Maintain full compliance with CRM tools, ensuring all prospect information, sales appointments, customer interactions, and outcomes (successes and failures) are accurately recorded.
- Record all customer orders and applications for products/services correctly.
- Prepare and submit accurate reports on deposits and cash collected, ensuring timely reconciliation with company requirements.
- Analyse and install minor distribution and marketing material at retail/distributor outlets to ensure brand visibility and compliance.
- Ensure every distributor has adequate sales and marketing collateral to support sell-through.
- Maintain and account for all stock of devices and SIMs under your control.
- Assist with stock-taking exercises and ensure SIMs are accurately reflected in the system.
- Assist with the operations of the business as it relates to Go-To-Market (GTM) requirements, including execution of trade activations, compliance with market coverage plans and supporting GTM operational needs.
- Provide feedback and insights from the field to guide improvements in distribution, visibility, and customer reach.
- Uphold Digicel’s brand reputation by ensuring honesty, transparency, and professionalism in all business dealings.
- Support sales management with timely reporting and proactive insights to strengthen overall business intelligence.
- To accurately record customers’ orders and applications for products and services.
- To accurately record and prepare a report on all information and amounts of money/cash taken as deposits from customers and deposited as requested by the company/manager.
- To provide relevant information and responses to customers' concerns and questions in an honest and business-like manner.
Academic qualifications and experience required:
- Minimum of Three (3) CXC (Caribbean Examination Council) CSEC subjects inclusive of English Language and a numerical subject (Accounts, Mathematics or Physics), or equivalent qualification
- Must possess good computer skills and knowledge of the Internet and applications
- Previous sales experience with demonstrated success
- Previous experience in a customer service environment is an asset

Working Condition: dust, dirt, heat, abnormal hours, frequent travel, overtime, etc.
- Required to work long hours in order to meet the business objectives / Abnormal hours
- Required to work on weekends and/or public holidays
- Frequent Customer site visits as required
- Working on the road in any condition
- Talking with customers of diverse personalities, social backgrounds and temperaments
- Required to travel out of town and overnight when necessary
- Ability to travel island wide/within an assigned zone
Key Performance Indicators:
- To achieve assigned targets
- Update, maintain and submit daily Sales, End of day & Collections Reports
- Adherence to reporting and administrative functions in a timely manner
- Update customer contracts
- To ensure that all aspects of Digicel services are exemplary.
