Primary objective of the job: 

 

We are seeking an experienced Regional Compliance Leader to manage and oversee the compliance function within the region. The successful candidate will design, implement, and manage an effective compliance program to prevent, detect, and respond to ethics and compliance risks.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Design and implement a comprehensive compliance program
  • Conduct risk assessments and mitigate ethics and compliance risks
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs
  • Provide legal and regulatory advice to senior executives and stakeholders
  • Monitor and interpret legislation, guidance, and industry standards
  • Facilitate a culture of ethics and compliance
  • Conduct internal investigations and establish monitoring systems
  • Communicate compliance expectations and provide regular updates.

 

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum); postgraduate degree or law degree (preferred)
  • At least 10 years of experience in law, compliance, internal audit, or governance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multilingual, international environment
  • Proactive and highly organized approach with strong professionalism
  • Advanced negotiation and conflict management skills
