Primary objectives of the Job:

• Manage a team 7 people consisting of Data Engineers, Data Scientists and BI Analysts in an agile way of working
• Collaborate with business partners to identify areas in which business intelligence efforts and prioritize the demands according to the teams’ capacity
• Identify and exploit opportunities for data and analytics due to a thorough understanding of needs and levers within domain
• Has in-depth knowledge of data governance and quality strategy design and deployment across the client
• Establish a communication plan and processes to implement data quality and governance policies; lead such implementation and coach businesses along the way
• Provide guidance and hands-on expertise to help the team with any roadblock or issue they may face on their deliverables
• Advise on the definition of domains, roles, scope and controversies for data
• Advise on high criticality data management methodology

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Flexibility to change work direction as the project develops according to highest-priority business needs
• Strong work ethic; ability to work at an abstract level and gain consensus
• Exemplary organizational skills with attention to detail, access, and quality assurance
• Excellent communication and listening skills, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary team members

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:   

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or analytic reporting
• Have proven experience of leading teams in agile ways of working
• Knowledge of BI tooling (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong analysis and pattern recognition skills, as well as synthesis skills, to be able to streamline work
• Ability to configure automated reporting processes preferred
• Strong data presentation and visualization skills; experience and formal training with data visualization tools preferred (e.g., Tableau)
• Experience accessing and working with large data sources/models (e.g., Redshift, Power BI, SQL) 
• Technical expertise in database development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
• Experience with cloud technology: Preferred Azure
