Job purpose:
The Business Intelligence officer will be responsible for supporting the business’s Commercial function, ensuring optimal support in product analysis, modelling, testing, proposition support and customer experience.
Key Objectives:
- Provide management oversight and assist with the overall strategy, direction and operations of business development initiatives
- Responsible for customer segmentation and profiling analysis for new products and solutions design and development
- Ownership of product launch and enhancement programs, from initial user testing to marketing launch briefs and sales training support
- Collaborate with marketing to keep abreast of competitive developments, technology changes and customer feedback, to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
- Collaborate with business partners to identify areas in which business intelligence efforts can add business value and delivers high-quality data visualization solutions
- Interact with relevant stakeholders to understand requirements for providing personalized data information
- Analyse data in order to provide insights on customer behaviour and campaigns’ performance for the customer value management team
- Identify and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets to enable business to make data-driven decisions
- Implement tools (e.g., Power Bi, Tableau) that help data consumers extract, analyse, and visualize data faster through efficient data pipelines
- Help business define KPI rules, and harmonize and reliably-track KPIs across the organization
- Automate reports to improve efficiency, and build real-time refreshing reports to provide timely insights to businesses
- Coach business partners on how to utilize dashboard reports and make improvements to increase readability and usability
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with MIS/BIS teams to inform development of reports and methodology to improve accuracy, value and efficiency
- Review and implement new/improved processes
- Design, develop and implement customer engagement/retention programs to enhance brand loyalty and customer longevity
- Continuously and vigorously analyze data, e.g. customer behavioral data to define retention and churn patterns/trends, and make recommendations to management
- Perform analysis for population targeting and segmentation.
- Analysis of KPI reports to ensure all metrics are on track, and to investigate adverse movement
- Run and create scheduled and ad-hoc reporting that informs consumer performance and use to make recommendations for action
- Assist in construction and measurement of in-life/base value management campaigns
Qualifications, knowledge & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Economics or other quantitative field
- Working knowledge and experience with CVM platform
- Experience in Data Mining and Analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Access and SQL is a plus
- Computer skills (MS Office, G Suite)
- Communication and analytical skills
Functional skills and abilities:
- SQL knowledge required
- Advance MS Excel skills and analytical tools like Tableau or similar
- Knowledge in predictive analytic tools like Salesforce Einstein
- Proven ability to design and develop reports that measure performance and quality metrics
- Ability to interpret large set of data into useful information for management
- Able to adapt quickly to create the most insightful analytics for the business need
- Strong and effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with management
- Knowledge using Google analytic tool or any other digital tools is a plus
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment but able to independently manage workload
