Primary objective

The Go-To-Market (GTM) Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all sales strategies and initiatives across all channels — including Retail and FOTS (Field Operations & Trade Sales). This role drives overall sales performance, ensures target achievement, and fosters collaboration between teams. The GTM Manager must be a strong leader who manages and guides the sales leads across all channels to deliver results and maintain operational excellence.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Ensure all sales channels consistently meet or exceed their sales and performance targets.
  • Lead and manage sales leads across channels, providing direction, motivation, and performance guidance.
  • Oversee the deployment and follow-up of all sales initiatives, campaigns, and product launches.
  • Coordinate go-to-market plans, ensuring alignment between Marketing, Retail, and FOTS teams.
  • Identify and propose new sales opportunities, ideas, and improvements to achieve business targets.
  • Monitor, track, and maintain all sales KPIs across channels, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Update and distribute all relevant sales reports on time, ensuring management has clear visibility of performance.
  • Analyze sales results, identify performance gaps, and recommend corrective actions when needed.
  • Ensure operational readiness and execution quality for new product and service introductions across all sales points.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain smooth communication, alignment, and delivery.
  • Prepare regular sales performance and progress reports for management review.
  • Perform any other duties that would normally fall under this position, as assigned.

 

Academic Qualifications and Experience required for position

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, go-to-market strategy, or channel operations (telecommunications or FMCG preferred).
  • Proven track record in driving sales growth and managing multi-channel performance.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and leading through influence.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation abilities..
