Primary objective of the job:

 

The HR Manager ABC oversees the markets of Aruba, Curacao, and Bonaire and is responsible for all facets of People Operations, including developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and processes. The role provides operational and directional support to the CEO and managers, and implements best-in-class practices in all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure consistent application of approved objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop strategies and costing models for staffing footprint with CEO and Heads of Finance and HR.
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to SLT on labor relations.
  • Oversee succession and training planning, staff engagement, and career development.
  • Manage Recruitment & Selection, employee relations, and internal communications.
  • Implement and manage Digicel's Performance Management System and HR Information System.

 

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

 

  • BSc in Management Studies, Human Resource Management, or Psychology.
  • Minimum 5 years HR experience in an international company.

 

Functional Skills:

 

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across cultures.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement people operations business cases.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen, with expertise in organizational design.
  • Ability to deliver in a matrix environment with individual accountability and team performance.
  • Proven planning, project management, and contract negotiation skills.
